Jaipur: Rajasthan is getting closer to achieving a 100% first dose vaccination.
Of the 5.14 people crore in the age group 18+, 4.86 crore had been given the first shot.
Although seven districts have reached more than 100% inoculation, they face challenges related to the second dose.
More than 60 lakh people, who qualified for the second dose, have not received the second shot.
The districts that have reached the target of 100% are Bundi, Jaipur, Pratapgarh, Sikar, Chittorgarh, Udaipur and Hanumangarh.
The city needs to vaccinate 507 people with the first dose to achieve 100% first dose vaccination.
Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena said, “Those who have not received the second dose, must immediately get it.” He said the instructions had been spent to ensure 100% vaccination until January 31.
To encourage people to complete vaccination, they produce awareness at the state and local level.
In addition, the Ministry of Health reached on the threshold of their door which requires vaccination.
“One can call 181 to complete vaccination,” said Dr.
Raghuraj Singh, Director of the Project (Immunization).
In January (until 19), the health department vaccinated 21.8 lakh people who had not received the first dose.
Now, the Heath department needs to vaccinate 28 other lakh people to reach 100% of the first dose vaccination.
The first dose achievement in the state has increased to 94.6% from 94.4% in 24 hours.
Sixteen districts achieved the first dose vaccination of 90% to 99.9%.
The city has achieved vaccination of 99.9% first dose until Wednesday.
Jaipur has achieved a 100% vaccination of the first dose.
