Rajasthan Bypolls: EC Campaign Deadline Until 19:00

Jaipur: The General Election Commission (EC) on Saturday issued an order to limit time to provide a campaign until it was 7:00 for Bypolls in Vallabhnagar and Dhariawad because Covid.
It states that there will be no election campaign between 19:00 and 10:00 in two assembly constituencies.
The Commission also increased the ‘silence period’ of 48 to 72 hours, which meant the poll campaign ended at 6 pm on October 27.
Praveen Gupta State Election Officer said that all instructions issued by the Indian Election Commission (ECI) during the west of the Bengal election considering the Covid-19 pandemic would also apply to the upcoming Bypoll.
Bypolls to two assembly constituents will be held from 7am to 6pm on October 30 and the vote count will be carried out on November 2.
In all, 5.11 Lakh voters will train their assembly franchises.
While 2.53 Lakh voters will be able to vote in Vallabhnagar, 2.57 Lakh voters will use their franchise in Dhariawad.
In Vallabhnagar, 1.29 lakh is a male voter and 1.24 lakh is a female voter.
Of the total voters in Dhariawad, 1.29 Lakh voters were male voters and 1.27 lakh were female voters.
Apart from this, there are 90 service voters in Vallabhnagar and 8 in Dharawad.
