Jaipur: The day after 15 ministers were sworn in, the Chief of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot on Monday allocated a portfolio to them, defending the house and finance for himself.
Twelve new ministers were appointed and three state ministers were elevated to the cabinet rank.
From the old cabinet – Pratap Singh Khachariya was allocated food and civilian supplies, Shanti Dhariwal retains UDH and parliamentary affairs, Lal Chand Kataria maintains agriculture and Pramod Jain Bhaya to retain mine and petroleum.
BD Kalla and Parsadi Lal Meena are allocated their education and health.
New ministers who received a portfolio ranked cabinet including Hemaram Choudhary (Forest), Mahesh Joshi (PHED), Ramlal JAT (Revenue), Ramesh Meena (Pancayati Raj and Rustic), Vishvendra Singh (Toursim and Civil Tours), Govindram Meghwal (Management Disasters and assistance), and Shakuntala treat (industry).
Singh and Meena were fired last year from the Rajasthan cabinet, and among them, Singh returned to the old tourism portfolio.
Mamta Bhupesh was allocated for women and children, PWD Lal Bhajan, Mataram Jully Social and Social Empowerment, because they increased to a cabinet rating of the State Minister.
