Rajasthan CM: Large cat protection is Paramount for the Government

Jaipur: As Ranthambore National Park (RNP) and Sariska Tiger Reserve (STR) witnessed a healthy growth in the number of large cats in the wild, the state government and the Ministry of Forestry on the occasion of the International Macan Day stated their commitment to their protection.
In June, the number of tigers violated a sign of a century in the country recorded a total of 104 large cats.
Two main tiger reserves, Ranthambore and Sariska, respectively, houses 72 and 23 cats, Kaihevi Reserve has four tigers, Dholpur (3) and Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve (MHTR) respectively.
On the occasion of the chairman of the Ashok Minister Gehlot Tweeted, “In Internationaltigerday, our determination to protect this extraordinary animal only grew stronger.
We need to raise awareness about the conservation of tigers and protection of their natural habitat.
