Jaipur: In 19 state districts, Covid active cases have now gone under 500-mark.
The number of active cases in the state, which has touched the peak on January 26, on that day, the state has 94,148 active cases, has now reduced to 23,404 at 17 days.
The situation of the Covid pandemic has increased in the state in 17 days, active cases decreased by 75%.
Active cases in the country decreased by 9% from25,779 to 23,404 in 24 hours.
For the 9th day in a row, the state witnessed a decline in active cases.
The active case in Jaipur decreased from 6,618 to 6.412 in 24 hours.
The country reported 2,606 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours bringing its overall calculation to 12,63,606.
Eight people also died, took the victim to 9,456.
For the second day in a row, the state has witnessed less than 10 deaths.
Within 24 hours, the two deaths were reported from Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, while one death was reported from Barmer and Bundi.
A health department official said that they were still collecting samples for covid testing sufficient amounts to maintain supervision in the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
The level of participants in the country also falls significantly.
In all states, 41,901 samples were collected for Covid testing on Saturdays.
