Jaipur: Chief of Minister Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot on Friday said his government is committed to providing quality education to students in the state and various steps have been taken in this case in the past three years.
He spoke during the Stone Foundation plate ceremony from Hostel Melamwal Women in Jhalamand in Jodhpur District.

He also announced the RS 5 Lakh of the Minister of Public Chief Assistance for the dormitory and guaranteed to provide more financial support through CSR funds.
He also asked people from the public to expand their cooperation in this noble cause.
Gehlot added that the state government had made better arrangements for the study and accommodation of boys and girls in a free and peaceful environment.
Because of the availability of free accommodation, food, among other facilities to students in hostels, they can pursue their studies without obstacles, he said.
About 775 hostels for scheduled castles, scheduled tribes, other backwards and most of the backward classes are operated in the state.
More than 36,000 students benefited from this hostel, he said.
The leader of the Senior Congress said the DBT Voucher Scheme Ambedkar had also begun to provide housing facilities to students from these categories.
