Jaipur: The Rajasthan government on Saturday announced that the decision to start a regular class in higher education institutions in the state will be taken after 15 days.
He also said approval to start classes in educational institutions related to basic and secondary education would be taken from the central government before reopening the institutions that were closed due to the coronavirus-induced locking.

Previously, Minister Rajasthan Govind Singh Dotasra said the ministerial head would receive a last call on the reopening of schools after discussing all aspects with the committee, two days after he tweeted that schools would be open from August 2.
After the Dotasra made an announcement, Gehlot on Friday was the five ministers committee to decide on the date and procedure of the standard operation (SOP) for the opening of educational institutions in the state.
Dotasra Tweeted on Saturday, “The head of the Minister of Gehlot will decide on the opening of the school after discussing all aspects with the cabinet committee suffered to prepare SOP details.”
Apart from the Dotasra, the committee included Health Minister Raghu Sharma, Minister of Agriculture Lalchand Kataria, Minister of Higher Education Bhanwar Singh Bhati and the Minister of Technical Education Subhash Garg.
Sources said the minister’s chairman questioned the Dotasra why he announced the school opening date when there was no decision in this case in a cabinet meeting held on Thursday.
