Rajasthan HC widespread virtual works until Jan. 28

Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court has extended virtual hearing cases until January 28 given the current Covid-19 situation.
The court has turned to online hearings after Christmas holidays from January 5 to 14 after a Covid case surge.
The court has just reopened in 5.
January before, the High Court functions both virtually and physically following the Covid protocol.
“Increasing an instant surge in the Covid-19 case and the spread of omicron variants that are highly contagious over the past few weeks and preventive measures adopted by the state government, the High Court has decided to only have virtual hearing from January 5-14,” said Notification issued by the Registrar General.
This decision has been taken for safety and security of all parties, prior notice said.
Meanwhile, the Rajasthan state legal service authority (RSLSA) has decided to keep its headquarters completely closed from January 14-17.
This decision was taken due to the increase in Covid-19 epidemic infection in the state and infection of a number of officials and employees in the office.
During this period all officers and employees have been instructed to work from home.
