Rajasthan: Int’l broken narcotics rackets

Jaipur: Crime Branch – Department of Crime Investigation (CB-CID) Police Wing Rajasthan – In conjunction with Jaipur police on Thursday broke the narcotics international racquet and captured smugglers with 5 kg of charas which cost almost Rs 1 Crore at the international market.
Haul – which is smuggled to India through Pakistan through Anantnag (Jammu) – will be sent in Ajmer.
It came through Anantnag to Amritsar and then Jaipur.
Ravi Prakash Meherda, an additional director general (crime), stated that the crime branch has maintained a watch on smugglers operating in Rajasthan.
“We have some unclear inputs developed by our team and it was found that a man identified as Aarif Ali brought Charas to Rajasthan and would take him to Ajmer.
We got a breakthrough when the defendant was found with illegal ownership of Charas 5 Kg while traveling by bus .
“pushpendra, deputy superintendent of police, CID-CB, saying,” We found that the defendant Aarif Ali to capture a drug from one Basir, drug traffickers active in Anantnag Jammu Kashmir.
” “It was found that Aarar had entered a constant touch with Bashir and had brought narcotics in Rajasthan before.

It seems that Pakistani smugglers through their people in Kashmir are looking for Punjab and Rajasthan are their soft targets in narcotics smuggling,” he said.
Meanwhile, at night Crime branch with the help of Punjab police managed to hold it back.
Bashir when he was on his way to Kashmir from Amritsar on the bus.
“Our team will bring Bashir to Jaipur.
We will interrogate Bashir and Aif,” Singh added.
A branch branch team in Amritsar was associated with a punjab trip to take Bashir in their custody.
