Jaipur: Making International Racquet Narcotics Smuggling, Crime Branch, Wing Crime Investigation (CB-CID) of Rajasthan Police in a relationship with Jaipur police on Thursday captured smugglers with illegal ownership of 5 kg Charas which cost almost Rs 1 Crore in the international market.
Haul was smuggled to India through Pakistan through Anantnag (Jammu) and will be sent in Ajmer and come through Anantnag to Amritsar and then Jaipur.
ADG (crime) Ravi Prakash Meherda, stated that the Crime branch has maintained supervision of smugglers operating in Rajasthan.
“We have some unclear inputs developed by our team and it was found that a man identified as Aarif Ali brought Charas to Rajasthan and would take him further to ajmer.
We got a breakthrough when the defendant was found with illegal ownership of Charas 5 Kg while traveling By bus.
“Deputy Supervisor of the Police, CB-CB, Pushpendra said,” We found that the defendant Aarif Ali received this narcotics catch from one Basir, active drug smugglers in Anantnag Jammu Kashmir.
It was found that Aarar had come into contact with Bashir and had brought narcotics at Rajasthan before.
He was arrested for the first time.
It seems that Pakistani smugglers through their people in Kashmir are looking for Punjab and Rajasthan to be their soft target in narcotics smuggling.
