Jaipur: Earthquake, measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale, press Jalore in early Saturday, according to the center of national seismology.
The earthquake tremor, which occurred at 2.26 in the morning, was felt in several villages in Pali Regency, Sirohi, Jalore and Jodhpur for 7 to 12 seconds.
People who were hit by panic rushed out of their homes.

Research is needed to study the geological movement in the Aravalli belt, officials said, adding that the tectonic plates in the fault line side by side with the earthquake.
