City: Special Court here punish a 32-year-old man for killing his wife three years ago and also imposed a fine of RS 25,000 to him, a senior court officer said on Saturday.
Arun Judge Godara sentenced Koshal Kishore Nagar, a resident of Ayana Town here, because of killing Rajkanwar, a government school teacher, in the city of Itawa in 2018, Ahsan Ahmad Khan, assistant director of the prosecutor (ADP), said the agricultural court of women.
According to Ramesh Chand, the father of the deceased, Nagar and Rajkanwar were not in the requirements both with each other even though they had a son, ADP said.
Nagar will often raise his wife and as a result, Rajkanwar has filed a complaint at the Itawa Police Station, after the local sub-division judge has issued a retaining order against Nagar and warned him by using violence, Khan said.
When he did not stop with his actions, Ramesh Chand filed a complaint with the police again on September 17, 2018.
On the same day, Rajkanwar visited his son’s school for some official work, ADP said.
When he returned from school on a motorcycle driven by one of his students, Nagar faced him, throwing red pepper into the eyes of students, and cutting down his wife’s throat, he said.
Nagar was arrested immediately after the incident and was in court custody since crime.
The statement of at least 32 witnesses was recorded before the court during the trail, he added.
