Jaipur: With a second covid wave firmly, the state government on Saturday decided to end the weekend curfew from Sunday as part of many key opening actions.
However, the curfew in the state of 11 nights to 5 in the morning will continue.
Fresh guidelines allow people, who have received the first dose of Covid vaccine, to go to the cinema, multiplex, and attend the exhibition, although these places will operate with a capacity of 50 percent below a certain period of time.
The order states that the shops and commercial institutions where 60 percent of staff have received the first dose of vaccines can remain open for four additional hours from 4pm to 8:00.
Similarly, restaurants are allowed to open until 10:00, subject to certain conditions, which include behavior that matches covid, proper sanititis, regular thermal screening and the use of masks.
The Chairman of the Minister of Ashok Gehlot said that though Rajasthan recorded a decrease in the case, he warned that the overall country had not been cleaned from the virus.
“People have to wear a mask and take precautions to prevent the third wave of pandemic,” he said.
The state government said that if the infection rate continued to fall in the coming days, more relaxation and easing of restrictions on the market and in commercial companies can be permitted, although with strict compliance with the appropriate behavior of Covid.
