Jaipur: A little girl from Jodhpur has been seeking the help of the State Children’s Commission to stop his upcoming marriage with a small boy who is scheduled for Saturday.
The girl approached the principal who in turn contacted the child panel after the wedding was prevented.
Apparently the girl’s sister must marry and parents decide to make younger people marry at the same time.
The Rajasthan State Commission for the protection of the Chairperson of the Beniwal Children’s Rights, “on Friday night, I was told that the girl, who was around 12-13 years old, would marry a man who was around 18 years old.
His parents wanted both daughters to get married The same time and the girl told the principal about it.

Last year in November, a 19-year-old boy had sought assistance from the State Child Commission to get his marriage, scheduled for November 29, stopped.
The legal age for boys to get married is 21.
The boy comes from Dausa and wants to learn further.
This is the first case where a boy stopped his own marriage.
Around the same time there are many cases from Udaipur, Chittorgarh and Jodhpur where little girls stopped their child’s wedding.
