The Rajasthan State Commission for the protection of the Chairperson of the Beniwal Children’s Rights, “on Friday night, I was told that the girl, who was around 12-13 years old, would marry a man who was around 18 years old.
His parents wanted both daughters to get married The same time and the girl told the principal about it.
As soon as I was told, I direct the police and the district government to ensure that the marriage of a child did not occur.
“Officials claimed that the children themselves were now more aware and advanced to stop Their own marriage.
Last year in November, a 19-year-old boy had sought assistance from the State Child Commission to get his marriage, scheduled for November 29, stopped.
The legal age for boys to get married is 21.
The boy comes from Dausa and wants to learn further.
