Jaipur: Of the 33 districts in the state, 14 reported zero cases of Covid active on Sundays.
With Rajsamand joining the list, more than 40% of districts now do not have active cases.
There are 152 active cases in 19 districts as on Sundays.
The weekly peposititivity level has now dropped to 0.05%.
The state has not reported Covid’s related deaths in the last 22 days.
This is the longest duration in which the state has not reported even a single covid victim since the first death was reported in March last year.
In the past seven days, the number of tests carried out in Rajasthan stood at 1.71.313.
Of these, 80 people were found infected.
A senior health department official said that even though the number of people found infected with the virus had fallen, they still continued the number of tests that sufficiently considered the level of pioneering reduction.
In the state, only five people found infected with Covid-19 on Sunday took the total calculation to 9.54,023.
Only two districts, Jodhpur (3) and Jaipur (2), reported new covid infections.
The rest of 31 districts did not report even one case in the last 24 hours.
In Jaipur, two people were found infected, one in Goner and the others in Mansarovar.
The number of restored cases in the country increased to 9.44,917.
