Jaipur: More than 61% of voter voters are registered in the first phase of voting to elect members of Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad in six Rajasthan regencies on Thursday, according to officials of the State Election Election Commission.
Polling starts at 7:30 a.m.
around 3,500 polling booths in Bharatpur, Dausa, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Sawai Madhopur and District Sirohi.

Rajasthan has 33 Zila Parishads and 352 Panchayat Samitis.
Of these, the election in 21 districts was held in November-December last year.
The election in 12 remaining districts cannot occur because the High Court lives on the creation of 19 new cities in the districts of these districts because the area of Raj Pancayati institution is revised.
After a matter of litigation in the restrictions process was completed in February, the State Election Commission completed the voter list for six districts.
