Jaisalmer: A man in the Sheo area of ​​Barmer’s district allegedly poisoned his four daughters, threw it into the water tank and consumed his own poison.
The four daughters died, while the man, who was serious, was being treated at Barmer Hospital.
The police said the man, who was a widower, was annoyed at his in-laws who did not approve his marriage to his brother-in-law.
The man’s wife died three months ago because Covid.
His in-laws had submitted a case against him for killing the daughters.
Barmer SP Anand Sharma said the defendant, one Purkharam was a resident of Poshal Village.

Purkharam underwent treatment at the district hospital.
