Jaipur: The state receives 4.6 lakh doses of covid vaccine provided by the center on Monday, so the total vaccine received in July to around 49 doses of lakh.
Until 6 pm on Monday, 1,81,761 vaccine doses were given, from 52,166 the first dose and 1,29,595 were the second dose.
Increasing drive vaccination, the Ministry of Health in Jaipur vaccinated 115 workers, who were abandoned from the drive.
“Our team reached Triveni Nagar and people who were vaccinated on slums near Nullah,” said Dr.
Narrettam Sharma, Head of Medical Health Officer (Jaipur-I).
In the state, 18 new Covid infections were found on Monday, bringing its overall calculation to 9.53,560.
There are no deaths reported.
The Death Toll now stands at 8,952.
The district that reported new cases was Jaipur (5), Alwar (4), Jodhpur (2), Nagaur (2), Udaipur (2), Churu (1), Srianganganagar (1) and Hanumangarh (1).
The Ministry of Health strengthens its health service infrastructure in rural areas amid Covid-19 third wave fears.
Health Minister Raghu Sharma said that more than 18,000 medical institutions in this country were equipped with modern medical facilities.
The government’s efforts are strengthening medical facilities in rural areas.
In addition, Covid testing capacity has increased to 1.5 lakh tests per day, he added.
