Abu Dhabi: Rajasthan Skipper Snipper Sanju Samson and his teammate has been fined for maintaining a slow level during their 33-run loss to the capital Delhi in the Indian Premier League match on Saturday.
While Samson has faced 24 lakh penalty, another member of playing XI “is each fined lower than Rs 6 lakh or 25 percent of their individual match costs.” “Because it was a violation of the two teams this season under the Code of Ethics IPL relating to the minimum interest rate violations, Rajasthan Royals Captain Sanju Samson was fined Rs 24 Lakh,” IPL said in a statement.
Royals surrendered at a 33-run defeat at the hands of the Delhi league leaders.
While The Royals Bowlers did well to limit capital to a total of 154 for 6, the mixture, apart from Captain Samson, who scored unbeaten 70, failed to rise to the occasion.
