Jaipur / Ajmer: ACB on Tuesday arrested a Tehsildar posted in Bhilwara and an intermediary for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 3 Lakh from someone who was in his help in the job related to income.
This agency also arrested the man who gave bribes and transferred the money to the Tehsildar brother’s account.
After arrest, ACB confiscated Rs 5.37 lakh from the Tehsildar house and almost Rs 12 lakh from the intermediary residential area.
ACB Dg BL Soni said the intelligence wing bureau had gathered information that Bhilwara Tehsildar Lalaman Yadav took bribes through Middleman Kailash Dhakar in lieu of providing benefits related to income.
“On Tuesday, our team first recovered nearly Rs 5.37 lachh from the residence of Lalaram and then recovered Rs 12 lakh from the residence of Dhakar,” said Soni.
Since bribing a public servant is also a crime, ACB also caught a Deepep Chaudhary who had given bribes to Lalalam.
Raids are carried out in Tehsildar housing and intermediaries.
ACB officials said YADAV was on agency radar for a long time since they received various complaints against him.
“He will take bribes in land related material to provide benefits for people who offer money.
It was found that in Darawi, Yadav got Rs 3 Lakh in his brother’s account.
Because we were confirmed, our team stormed the defendant’s house and the intermediary and recovered money,” said Rajendra Nain, additional SP, ACB.
During the investigation, it was also found that before posting as Tehsildar, he posted in Block Bijoliya, which was the mining area and the Kailash Dhakar intermediary deal with Tehsildar since then.
The case below the right part of the prevention of the corruption law has been submitted against the defendant in this relationship.
