JAIPUR: The health division on Saturday said accessibility of oxygen for clinical use will be raised in private and government hospitals by placing up oxygen production plants and installing oxygen concentratorsthat may extract 750MT into 800 MT oxygen in the atmosphere daily.
The demand for oxygen throughout Covid had gone around 800MT daily.
Over the last one year, the state authorities increased the amount of all oxygen-supported bedsthat pushed the need for oxygen.
The amount of O2 beds also have been raised from 6,949 into 18,540 per calendar year, said .
In any case, the amount of ICU beds have significantly risen from 1,778 into 2,913 along with the amount of ventilators have gone up in 904 to 2,344.
Amid fears of a potential third wave, the health division has begun preparations.
“In the following two months, we’re targeting to accelerate production of oxygen up to 800 MT from oxygen production plants according to oxygen separation from air in hospitals and authorities and by installing oxygen concentrators,” stated a senior health department official.
He explained they’ve led private hospitals using over 60 beds to set up their plants.
Additionally, the health area has around 10,000 oxygen concentrators while the other 20,000 have been in the gut.
“We’re targeting to make 750 MT into 800MT of oxygen in 2 weeks,” explained a senior health department official.
The health department needed to rely heavily on the source of liquid chemical oxygen in the Centre through the next tide of Covid.
The health area is targeting to make sure that the community health centers in rural regions will have centers of oxygen to patients and also for its function, the health department is currently installing oxygen concentrators in community health centers so that individuals receive instant oxygen whenever they want it.
