Rajasthan tourism to add more activity-based experience

Jaipur: Realizing that activity-based tourism will become the main industry driver, the State Tourism Department has sounded district field officers about identifying markets that can be developed for night tourist purposes.
In addition, night bazaar, tourism adventure and water sports will be an important part of the strategy to attract tourists and revive this sector, said Nishant Jain, director of tourism in the meeting.
Last year, district administration and tourism departments worked together by creating paragliding activities in Rajasamand Lake.
Now, within a week, water sports activities will begin there.
“Our focus is now creating experience, and tourism plays a big role in that matter.
Rajasamand is one example.
We want to have a bazaar night also in cities that attract many tourists.
We have told our officials at the district level To identify the theme so that in line with the district administration, we can initiate, “Jain said.
Jain said tourists didn’t mind visiting the same place several times if there were activities.
“With experimental tours, we will not only reach a bigger tourist base but also attract repetitive tourists,” Jain added.
