City: The state government on Wednesday is allocated 1250 hectares for the proposed Greenfield airport in the city.
District collector, after receipt of orders, initiated a procedure for transferring land to the Indian Airport Authority (AAI) near Shambhupura.
Approval is received from the competent level of authority to transfer the land needed by the Secretary, the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Indian Government, for the construction of the new Greenfield airport proposed in the city, a letter to the city district collector signed by Rajiv Jain, Joint Secretary, Civil Aviation Department , The Rajasthan government, July 14, 2021.
Speaker Lok Sabha and MP Birla City-Bundi has made efforts for a long time for new airports while Minister of UDH and MLA countries from the city of Shanti Dhariwal city for the same level at the state government level.
The six member of the AAI member, accompanied by local administration and officials, has visited the site near Shambhupura and conducted a technical assessment after AAI approved the land.
