City: Police on Saturday arrested a woman and her son for killing her husband four days ago in Jhalawar.
Both were produced in court on Sundays that sent them to police custody for a day.
The deceased has been identified as Rai Singh Gurjar (50).
Police Office Bakani Sho Mohammed Ibrahim said, fed up with violence in the household and the misery of Rai, his wife Sumitra (45) and Mangilal’s son (22) strangled him in sleep.
The alleged child has submitted a murder case against an unknown defendant, he said.
Ibrahim said, during the probe, both of them told different stories that raised suspicion.
However, both of them later claimed to have committed a crime.
The deceased, despite having a good source of income from agricultural land and large cattle stocks, it is very difficult that he does not even send the four of his four children, two daughters and two brothers to school or have started an effort for their marriage while each child – Adult children and qualified to get married.
