Jaipur: Covidal cases active in the state have been reduced by 99.4% in the last 50 days.
Four people died, while 90 others tested the positive Coronavirus in the state on Saturday, bringing its overall calculation to 9,52,663.
With 4 deaths, victims of the country rose to 8,934.
Apart from the three districts – Alwar (356), Jaipur (224) and Jodhpur (111) – others individually have less than 100 active cases.
The total active case of the state has been reduced from all time of 2,12,753 in 14 to 1,290 May since active cases have decreased by more than 99.4% in the last 50 days.
Active cases in Jalore and Jhalawar have diminished to zero.
Jalore reported the last Covid-positive case on June 22 and Jhalawar reported his last case on June 29.
Since then, it hasn’t reported a positive case of Covid.
Bundi reported a positive Covid case after 16 days, because he had reported his last case on June 17 but on Saturday, one person was tested positive for the virus in Bundi.
With 138 other people recovered from Covid, the overall recovered person counting rose to 9.42,469.
“The recovery rate has increased to 98.9%.
We encourage people to continue to follow the appropriate behavior of Covid to prevent the spread of the virus,” said an official health department official.
Districts that report new cases are: Alwar (25), Jaipur (17), Dausa (7), Tonk (7), Jodhpur (6), Srianganganagar (5), Hanumangarh (4), Sikar (4)), Bikaner (3), Bharatpur (1), Bundi (1), Chittorgarh (1), Jhunjhunu (1), City (1), Nagaur (1), Rajsamand (1) and Sirohi (1).
Two people died because Covid in Udaipur, bringing tolls to 744; Chittorgarh reported the 138th victim and Pratapgarh reported his 62nd death.
