Jaipur: Opening after a gap of nearly five months, schools in Rajasthan have been asked to hold yoga activities for student mental health and inhibit their timings to ensure minimal physical interactions.
These suggestions are part of the standard operating procedure (SOP) issued by Secondary Education Director on Wednesday.

According to SOP, the school has been instructed to store separate times for the arrival and departure of different class students so that there is no meeting of all students at the same time.
For schools running in one shift, grade 9 and 11 students will enter at 7:30 a.m.
and leave at 12:30 a.m., while for those who are in class 10 and 12, the time in and out will be 8am and 1 afternoon .
In school two shifts, grade 9 and 11 students will enter at 12:30 a.m.
and depart at 5:30 a.m., while the time for students for grade 10 and 12 will be 1 noon and 6pm each.
To alleviate some of the severity of locking, the department has recommended arranging yoga activities for several minutes at school.
SOPs protest assembly prayers, sports, group activities and ac use.
If it will be used, the temperature needs to be stored between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius, the SOP is instructed.
It prohibits cooking midday food, and mandates wearing a mask for everyone.
Students are asked to get approval from their guardians before they start attending classes.
Attendance will not be mandatory, according to the guidelines.
The school in the state was closed due to locking considering the second wave of Corona infection in April this year.
