Rajasthan ZP, Pancrayat Tax: Counting on Saturday

Jaipur: Vote counting for the election of Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti in six Rajasthan districts will begin at 9am on Saturday, an official said.
The Commissioner of the Election of PS Mehra said the poll was held to choose 200 members of Zilla Parishad, 1,564 members of Panchayat Samiti, 6 Zilla Pramukh and their deputies, and 78 Pradhans in six districts.
Of these, one member of Zilla Parishad and 26 Panchayati Samiti members had been chosen without removing, he said.
The results of 199 Zilla Parishad and 1,537 Pancayati Samiti members will be announced on Saturday, he said, adding that the voice count will be held at the district headquarters respectively.
According to Mehra, in the three phases, 64.40 percent of voters carry out their franchises.
He only said personnel and officers who had received at least one dose of anti-covid vaccine would be deployed at the calculation center.
