JAIPUR: 63 physicians have expired of Covid at Rajasthan until date.
Even though the initial wave claimed the lives of 22 physicians, the next spanned the lives of a second 41.
Personal physicians are demanding a reduction of Rs 50 lakh for the dead person only because it’s granted to kin of government physicians perishing of Covid.
“This season, 41 physicians have met with premature passing and that also in a really brief time period.
This past year, we dropped 22 physicians,” explained Dr Vijay Kapoor, secretary, and Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes Society (PHNHS), adding this year physicians that died were largely young and vaccinated.
Kapoor explained,”We ask the authorities to give appropriate financial help to all these corona warriors’ households and give them fame because Covid martyrs.
After the authorities may consist of ration traders and licensed journalists for the reimbursement of Rs 50 lakh as a result of Covid departure, why not personal physicians and paramedics?” Indian Medical Association (Jaipur division ) president Dr Tarun Patni, also, required compensation for the personal physicians perishing of Covid.
“Each physician who’s treating Covid or not needs to be granted compensation in the event of Covid departure,” explained Dr Patni.
But, caregivers said that there was a confusion about reimbursement issue.
“Under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package: Insurance Scheme to Health Workers Struggling Covid, there’s a supply of reimbursement of Rs 50 lakh for personal hospital employees also,”stated a senior health department official.
In the country, 88 claims for compensation are obtained from the health division.
Out of these, 14 were awarded Rs 50 lakh, 48 are below procedure and remainder of these have been reversed, the health department official stated.
One of those 14individuals who obtained the asserts, aren’t just the physicians, but physicians, anganwadi employees and other corona warriors.
