Superstar fans of Rajinikanth, on Sunday, held a special prayer in Thiruparankundrram Murugan Candi in Madurai Tamil Nadu Regency for his fast recovery and the success of the film to come Annaatthe.
Fans do special prayers by solving 108 coconuts and “Soru Man” (eating from the floor).
“We know that the two days of our superstar back that Thalava was received in the hospital because of his illness.
Now we are doing mass prayers for his fast recovery and for the success of the film,” said Rajinikanth fans to the Ani news agency.
Rajinikanth was treated at the Hospital of Kauvy in Chennai on Thursday and underwent a carotid artery revascularization on Friday.
According to a medical bulletin issued by the Hospital of Kauvy, Padma Bhushan Awardee recovered well after he underwent the carotid of the endarterectomy which was a surgical procedure that removes plaque from the inside of the patient’s carotid artery to restore normal blood flow to the brain.
The medical bulletin also states that actors are likely to be disposed of in a few days.
‘Annaatthe’, led by Siva, also Nayanthara Bintang, Keerthy Suresh, Khushboo, and Prakash Raj.
The film, which is now scheduled to be released on November 4, was postponed several times due to production delays caused by a coronavirus pandemic.
