Rajiv gandhi it award to be given to the company

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government on Friday said that the newly announced Rajiv Gandhi information technology award will be given to IT companies in the state in five different categories.
The state minister of Maharashtra for that Patil satej made an announcement.
“The purpose of this award is to recognize the contribution of IT companies in the country’s prospects and to encourage employers and startup.
There will be five categories of awards, which will be given every year on August 20,” he said.
The prime minister who was late Rajiv Gandhi was born today in 1944 in Mumbai.
This award was named after him for his efforts to introduce computers and in the country, Patil said.
“Awards will be given in five categories in the Information Technology Sector – IT engineering service software, it supports services (BPO / KPO), IT infrastructure (data center), most of the start and special awards for contributions to Maharashtra,” he added.
This award consists of recalls and quotes.
There will be no cash prizes in awards because these companies already have large income, but are intended to recognize their contributions to the community and the state, he said.
This year, advertisements that invite nominations for awards will be issued on August 20 and nominations can be submitted on September 15.
The application will be examined on September 27 and the first meeting of the Scrutiny Committee will be attended on September 30, followed at its last meeting on October 20 this year, he said.
For this year, the recipient will be announced in the last week of October, after the award distribution function will be held, the Minister said.
The use of information technology for the country’s social and economic development is a modernization axis.
Late Rajiv Gandhi has emphasized the expansion and use of information technology and its effective use in national development, he said.
