RAJKOT: A prostitution racket flourishing at a city-based resort was broken at Wednesday night when authorities rescue two women, one of them a little, who had been brought in to be pushed to flesh trade.
The small, who’s 16-year-old is from Uttar Pradesh while another woman is really a native of Maharashtra.
An NGO had obtained advice that a 16-year-old woman was attracted into the town to be pushed to prostitution and its own members approached the Mahila police channel.
“Together with this little woman, authorities also discovered another young woman, who disclosed that the little had been brought to the town by a guy called Santosh, a native of Aligarh,” explained Manoharsinh Jadeja, deputy commissioner of police, zone-2.
Santosh has, nonetheless, fled and authorities have launched a search for him.
Authorities said the two women were at the resort for the last one-and-a-half-month.
After NGO’s volunteers along with cops in the police station raided the resort, the little girl was discovered in a space, but authorities stumbled upon a prostitution racket conducted by Prabhudas Kakkad, also a resident of Ramnagar, also Jaishree Chavda, that resides in Virat Society and glancing from Vadodara.
Together with the Kakkad and Chavda, authorities also detained hotel director Mehul Toralia, 30.
Sources said some individuals connected to the resort allegedly have affiliations with all the ruling party.
Even the duo used to conduct the racket with the support of a girl from West Bengal and bill Rs 2,000 in guys.
Authorities said that the girl and resort was paid Rs 500 per year and Kakkad and Chavda utilized to talk about the rest of the amount evenly.
An offence has been filed contrary to Kakkad and Chavda below the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act in Pradyuman Nagar police station.
