New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday invites our company to invest in India through a joint venture, while stating that bilateral cooperation between the two countries will run away in increasing “economic dynamics” after global disorders caused by Covid-19 pandemics.
Registering the initiative taken by the Modi government during the virtual address in the Indo-US economic summit, Singh said the industry’s confidence had increased after the disposal of the retrospective taxation regime.
Global investors received ‘red carpet’ instead of ‘red-peamism’ from the previous government.
“We have formulated progressive and investor friendly tax policies.
We have said ‘goodbye retrospective tax and correct the previous government error (UPA),” he said.
He noted that there was plenty of space for Indian and Indian defense companies to go for joint production and development with military equipment.
