Rajnath might meet Chinese partners in Dushanbe

New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday night reached Tajikistan on a three-day trip to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Convective (SCO), where he could also meet with Chinese partner generals Wei Fenghe in Dushanbe.
The source said that even though bilateral meetings between two defense ministers had “not scheduled”, India did not reject discussions if China wanted it.
“Bilateral meetings with China are not ruled out,” said a source.
“Singh, like that, will emphasize the need for peace solutions from all problems through dialogue in the region, including in the war-hit by war, during his speech in the SCO defense minister on Wednesday,” he added.
On July 14, the Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar also held a meeting for one hour with his colleague Wang Yi on the sidelines of another SCO met in Dushanbe.
This happens in the 12th round of the Corps Commander’s talks between India and China, which will now be held “in the next few days” after a long gap since the last round on April 9, in another effort to increase military confrontation in East Ladakh since April-May year then.
In upcoming military talks, the settlement of the release of tracing troops in gorry and hot springs is likely to be borne, with the sources that say it is a “low hanging fruit” for both countries.
But every movement to complete the friction point in Demachok or the blocking of Indian patrols by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in the Department of Department which is strategically located cannot at this stage, the source said.
So far China shows the intention to eliminate the overall situation, with PLA diligently diligently consolidating its military position along the border and increasing the airbirth faced by Ladakh, as reported by TOI.
India has emphasized that the release of troops from the “remaining friction point”, followed by de-induction and consequently de-escalation, is very important for improvement in bilateral bonds.
But China wants a border line to be stored in the “right place”, without it overwriting the whole bond.
Both Singh and Jaisankar also separately met with their Chinese colleagues during the SCO Conference in Moscow in September last year.
The two countries then agreed to refrain from taking further military actions that could increase tensions, with two foreign ministers also approved a five-point diplomatic consensus for release and de-escalation.
The meeting finally caused the release of troops on both sides of Pangong Tso, after several begins, in February this year.
