NEW DELHI: Defence minister Rajnath Singh will almost handle a meeting of some group comprising 10-nation ASEAN plus a number of its discussion partners on Wednesday.
Singh is very likely to show India’s perspectives on managing significant security challenges confronting the area in the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM-Plus).
“Raksha Mantri Shri @rajnathsingh will take part in the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting And (ADMM-Plus) tomorrow via video conferencing centre,” his workplace tweeted.
ADMM-Plus is a stage consisting of 10-nation ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) and its own eight talk partners — India, China, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Russia and America.
The ADMM-Plus has been headquartered in Hanoi at 2010.
The defence ministers subsequently had consented about five areas of technical cooperation to chase under the new mechanics, such as marine safety, counter-terrorism, humanitarian help and peacekeeping operations.
