New Delhi: RAM Chandra Prasad Singh on Thursday took over as the country’s new steel minister.
He replaced Dharmendra Pradhan, which was allocated by the Ministry of Education along with the Ministry of Skills and Entrepreneurship Development in the latest Cabinet of Modi 2.0 government reshuffle.
Singh is the leader of Janata Dal-United, represents Bihar at Rajya Sabha.
He was an officer of the Retired IAS from Batch 1984 and has served more than 25 years in various capacities.
Singh was among those who were given an office oath and confidentiality by President of RAM Nath Kovind on Wednesday.
