The International Council of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), the UNESCO Agency, which oversees the world’s tag inheritance, in its report, is presented in the 44th session which is extended by the online World Heritage Committee, recommends that Telangana must be completed in December 2021 which is revised comprehensive conservation and management plans done by it.
Telangana must also establish a clear period of time and methodology for settlement of Ramappa temple conservation.
“ICOMOS considers that the integrated management plan, which was announced for December 2021, must be resolved and integrated the programmed conservation plan for property (Ramappa) in its broader context and geographical extension and special parts for risk preparedness and disaster management and disaster management” said That report.
Some smaller Kakatiya temples, located in the buffer zone, seem to be at risk of collapse, the ICOMOS report said it added that the conservation state of important elements that are currently not considered.
ICOMOS recommends that during further documentation regarding limit extensions, this and other important elements in enlarged properties must be included in the revised conservation plan.
“(Ramappa Temple) is also influenced by inappropriate visitor behavior (including vandalism and theft) and seasonal celebration density.
