Ayodhya: ‘Shobha Yatra’ or a great procession of deepotsav celebrations in Ayodhya was launched from the location of Saket Degree College and injured the road through the city of the temple to conclude in Ram Katha Park on Wednesday.
Eleven Tableaux in the carnival, marked by Deputy Minister of Dinesh Sharma’s chairman, described the ‘Treta Yug’ or life and time of the god of RAM.
With artists from various parts of the country and the Saarc countries that appeared in ‘Shobha Yatra’, it was a cultural fortress on the streets with RAM into a binding theme.
It took five hours for the procession to complete the stretch of 5 km from the College to Ram Katha Park.
The mini truck was formed into ‘RAM Raths’ having a pictorial description of God’s birth, ‘Swayamvar’ with Sita, his marriage and 14-year exile, his meeting with Shabri, Kidnapping Sita and epic battle in Lanka to God from exile and coronation in Ayodhya.
All these aspects are translated into dance extravaganza and drama with cultural groups.

This procession also provides a glimpse of ‘Kamna Yagya’, Gurukul Ram’s Days and his brothers, Liberation Ahilya from his curse and safety through RAM and Lord Hanuman Torches.
