PATNA: Physicians at authorities as well personal hospitals may discontinue OPD services for individuals from 8.30am to 12.30pm June 18 in protest against the opinions created by yoga guru Ramdev against contemporary medications and the episodes of violence against the medical fraternity.
The physicians will, nevertheless, remain to attend Covid and crisis patients.
The National headquarters of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) had issued a call with this protest that was supported by the country division of the institution.
IMA federal president-elect Dr Sahajanand Prasad Singh stated Ramdev’s opinions tricked a huge people and pushed the nation a decade ago in health consciousness.
“It was later Ramdev’s insulting remarks that lots of people started avoiding vaccines as well as participated in scuffles with all the immunisation teams.
Action needs to be taken from Ramdev beneath the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897,” he explained.

Acting president of say IMA Dr Ajay Kumar stated Ramdev insulted the physicians and also the line of therapy being demonstrated to help people conquer Covid disease.

“At least 25 examples of acts of violence throughout both waves of Covid came into the start of the IMA at Bihar,” Dr Kumar explained.
