New Delhi: Pakistani Cricket Board Chair (PCB) Ramiz Raja is set to propose an annual fourrangular series involving India, Pakistan, Britain and Australia in the next ICC meeting in an effort to play regular international cricket against India, Express Tribune reported.
According to the Australian sports code, the four-state tournament will be proposed by the former Pakistani captain in the T20i format.
Pakistani Arch-Rivals and India have been seized playing bilateral cricket due to deteriorating political conditions.
They last played series in India in 2012/13.
During the Najam Setyhi regime, the two cricket boards plan to play six series during the 2015/23 cycle but it did not happen.
Pakistan and India only play in the ICC (International Cricket Council) tournament (Asian Cricket Council) since 2013.
On the other hand, Ramiz said to the publication that there was a major anticipation in Pakistan ahead of Australia’s tour and that he had done it freely by new comments – This was new from the Aussie dough that was born by Pakistan Usman Khawaja because he personally urged teammates to travel to Pakistan, the report said.
Australia will visit Pakistan for three tests, three international one day and one T20 international starting from the beginning of March.
Cricket Australia (CA) is committed to the next tour; The first visit from the Aussie side to the country since 1998.
