Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is also a PCB patron-in-chief, has nominated Ramiz and a senior Bureaucrat Asad Ali Khan as a new member of the swamp.
It is the previous conclusion that Ramiz will be chosen as chairman to replace Ehsan Mani, who completed his three-year term last month.
PCB said that the new leader will also hold a media conference after a meeting at the National High Performance Center.
Although Ramiz has not officially taken over as chairman but its influence has been seen in the selection of World Cup troops and in other matters such as a sudden resignation of the head coach of Misbah-ul-Haq and Bowling.
