New Delhi: Amid the increasing track of Covid-19 cases, the center has warned that health infrastructure can be emphasized because of the increase in sudden cases, advising the country to add health facilities with emergency hospitals and hotel rooms with leverage.
The Ministry of Health also advises the state to form a special team to monitor patients in house isolation.
“It is very important to re-emphasize the significance of a timely and fast increase in health infrastructure in all states / UTS, …
and some VCs held by the state.
This becomes more important because with a sudden increase in case we can begin to see health infrastructure The stress, “said Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan in a letter to the country and UTS on Saturday.
Maharastra, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Kerala have recorded a large number of omicron-infected cases so far.
To overcome the potential surge in case, Bhushan suggests countries to start the creation of fields or emergency hospitals in coordination with Drdo and CSIR.
This center has also requested the private sector to add infrastructure.
“This will help the creation process of field hospital participants or temporary set-up hospitals.
Countries can also consider utilizing hotel rooms and other accommodations connected with Covid special hospitals in the government and private sectors to serve patients who have mild symptoms Until moderate, as was carried out in several states in previous cases, “Bhushan said.
This center also emphasizes that a large number of positive cases may qualify for house isolation because Omicron is largely causing a mild disease.
However, these cases will require effective follow-up and clearly determined mechanisms for prompt shifting to health facilities if there is a setback in their health situations.
“Special teams are formed to monitor cases of house insulation, call centers / control rooms must help outgoing calls to monitor patients like that and ensure that all of these cases are transferred to the appropriate health facility through a special ambulance,” the letter said.
The Ministry of Health also asks the state to place a mechanism where residents can call and get ambulances and beds in a transparent way.
SSTAT has been advised to revisit existing Covid health infrastructure and take the necessary actions to ensure their operational readiness.
“Clear focus on rural areas and pediatric cases must also be maintained.
The state needs to regularly review the availability of logistics, the availability of oxygen, and stock buffer drugs in all health facilities in the state,” said Bhushan.
