Greater Noida: The authority of the development of the Great Noida Industry (Gnida) on Wednesday broke at least 70 concrete ramps, which is located in front of the house, to allow clogged ditch cleaning.
The population was warned to build slopings to orders to maintain access to the sewer.
The drive starts from beta sector 1 and will continue in other residential areas.
Clogged waterways, which cannot be cleaned due to ramps, have caused water to move in many places in the city during the rainy season.
According to officials, Gnida prepared a drainage system to remove rainwater.
However, people cover it in front of the houses with concrete ramps.
During the rain, water cannot be drained.
As a result, the roads are flooded with water which causes discomfort for the population.
“We have asked residents to remove this ramps through public notifications and announcements.
But they do not pay attention.
So, we destroy them,” said an official.
“The drive starts on Tuesday from the Beta 1 sector block and will be carried out in other sectors such as Alpha, Gamma etc.,” said General Manager AK Arora (project) Gnida.
In accordance with the official, the move came due to inaction in the residents.
In Arora’s instructions, a team from the working circle 6 destroyed the ramps in the Beta sector block 1.
After the act of authority, many residents also took to break the ramps in front of their homes in front of the day.
“Now, the residents of this sector have begun to open the disposal space in front of their homes.
If the authority will not start this cleanliness drive, we will continue to face the water situation seen in the last few days during a heavy shower,” said Harinder Bhati, a resident of Beta 1.
