Ranchi: Accused of a land fraud case escaping from the ITKI police station here on Wednesday when he will be taken to Bero for the Covid-19 test.
The defendant, Basant Sahi, and the other two were arrested after they had land ownership belonging to an adivated woman without payment.
The tribal woman has registered a case against eight people, including Sahi, under the scheduled caste, the scheduled tribe (the prevention of cruelty) acts in this relationship.
When the police took me out of the detention room to complete the document for the test, he escaped from the place.
One of the relatives of Sahi, who was waiting near him, took him away to his bicycle.
The police questioned about half a dozen people in connection with the escape and raids to accuse the defendant.
SP (rustic) Naushad Alam said, “I have asked Bero DSP to investigate the incident.
Prima Facie seems to have weaknesses from the local police.”
