Ranchi: Ranchi-New Delhi Rajdhani Express will run once a week through the Ranchway Ranchi-Lohardaga-Tori route that has just opened from November 11.
On November 8, the train service gave green light to the South East Train proposal (SER) running the train through a new route.
In accordance with the direction of the train board, 12353/12354 Rajdhani Express will operate through a new route every Thursday.
However, it will not stop at Lohardaga Station and will have cessation in Daltonganj, Jalan Garhwa, PT Deendayal Upadhyay Junction and Prayagraj Station.
“At present, Ranchi Rajdhani Express operates four days a week.
It reaches New Delhi through the Ranchi-Muri-Barkakana route in two days and takes the Ranchi-Bokaro route in the next two days.

“Time travel between Ranchi and New Delhi stations will decrease at least 90 minutes,” Gupta added.
Lemongrass has officially pitched to run Rajdhani through the Railroad route Lohardaga Tori along 112 km in July this year, almost eight months after the Ranchi train division completed the electrification trials and speed routes.

The train, which will operate every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, will leave Ranchi at 8:20 a.m.
and arrive at Chopan at 4 pm.
It will have a termination in Piska, Lohardaga, Lahtar, Junction Barwadih, Datonganj, Jalan Garhwa, Garhwa, Ramna, UNTARI Nagar, Duddhinagar and Renukut Station.

Jharkhand passenger associations welcomed the decision to run Rajdhani on a new route.
“It was a long request and we welcomed it.
But we also demanded that the train must have a termination at Lohardaga Station.
