Ranchi: Niti Aayog has Ranchi ranked as the first between 117 state aspirational districts to implement a central welfare scheme during the second wave of Pandemic Covid-19.
Ranchi emerged as a leader for his work at 49 indicators, which included health and nutrition, education, agriculture and basic infrastructure, among others.
Niti Aayog registered the ranking of the Portal Changers.
Suspended by the central recognition, Ranchi DC Chavi Ranjan said, “We have provided the best to overcome the priority pandemics in the last two waves despite limited resources.
We have also tried to restore the welfare program for people.” He added, “Like Most health care workers, including Sahiyas, ANMS, GNMS, and public health workers are deployed on Covid-19 tasks, our compliance with routine immunization falls.
Then, we rationalize their workforce and mourn them back in regular health programs.
We also added 250 New Angganwadi Center in all districts under the scheme of Nrega.
The total number of centers like that now increased to 1850.
We also completed 4,000 new PMAY houses in this district.
“Aspirational district, fellow Puja Kumari said routine immunization restoration was one of the factors to pocket rankings top.
“Increase in the delivery of institutions, recovery of anti-birth examination and continuing civil construction work also helps us take the top spot,” he added.
