Ranchi: Bhagwan BiriSa Biological Park in Ranchi reopened for visitors on Friday after 85 days and on the first day, 350 visitors set foot on the 156 acre zoo to see a glimpse of the animal.
Director of the zoo y K Das welcomed the first batch of visitors with bouquets.

The zoo was closed for last year because Jharkhand emerged from the first wave of Pandemic Covid-19.
It was opened on March 1 this year but was closed in mid-April because the Covid-19 case began to rise in the state.
DAS said nearly 60% of the zoo workers, consisting of guard cages, gardeners, cooks and others, were vaccinated.
“Anti-viral drugs are sprayed on animal cages and birds every day.
