Randhir Kapoor is crestfallen.
Speaking with Etimes a few minutes ago, he said, “the greatest actor Dilip Kumar is no longer.
The biggest personality has left us.
My father’s close friend Raj Kapoor is missing”.
Randhir remembered that Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor created a shared magic in ‘Mez’, which was released in 1949.
Nargis played the female instructions and the film was a big hit.
“That’s a good film,” Randhir said.
Raj Kapoor’s oldest child further said that he remembered Dilip Kumar visited Raj Kapoor when he was in a hospital in critical condition.
“I remember Dilip Kumar was very sad.
Actually, every time my father and he met, there were strong emotions between them”.
Like Raj Kapoor, Dilip Kumar was born and grew up in Peshawar, now in Pakistan.
Both families live in Havelelis very close to each other, which is now being converted into a museum.
