Mumbai: BJP leader and Union Minister Narayan Rane on Saturday claimed Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde, the minister of urban development in the MVA government, was not happy and he would be appointed in the BJP if he wanted to turn to the side.
Rane, who was in Vasai-Virar as part of Jan Ashirwad Yatra throughout the week, spoke with a suppressor after meeting with local industrial owners.
“Shinde only signed the file.
He can’t make a decision without the approval of Matoshree.
He is bored with Sena.
I will call him.
If he comes to us (BJP), he will be welcomed,” Rane said.
Sena Sweetha spokesman Kayande said Rane made a comment like that to please his “godfathers” at BJP.
“He was frustrated that Uddhavji appeared stronger on the day.
Shinde is at the top of the affairs in the government and the party.
There are no questions about him who is not happy,” Kayande said.
