CHENNAI: Automobile components manufacturer Rane Group has donated Rs 1 crore to the Tamil Nadu authorities to encourage its struggle against Covid-19.
Rane Group’s vice-chairman Harish Lakshman and older officers predicted chief minister M K Stalin on Tuesday and handed over the cheque for Rs 1 crore, the business said in an announcement.
The Business donated Rs 50 lakh to the CM’s Public Relief Fund and Rs 50 lakh towards the Tamil Nadu State Disaster Management Authority.
Besides the preceding, Rane Group businesses also spent a definite quantity of Rs 1.80 crore towards different Covid-19 relief steps, the business said.
“The team encouraged several main healthcare centers and hospitals towards source of crucial medical equipment like ventilator encouraged ICU beds, oxygen tanks and health care equipment such as gloves, masks, sanitisers and many others.
The group companies are working closely together with numerous government agencies and NGOs to devote another service around Rs 1 crore,” Rane said.
